Who We Are
The Marquis Jaylen Brown Foundation was birthed from the unstoppable love of a mother demanding justice for her child, which has expanded into a powerful movement uniting students and concerned parents through activism. Dannielle “Mama” Brown seeks to honor the legacy of her son, Marquis Jaylen Brown, by creating a platform in which mothers and students have their voices heard, to promote police transparency and accountability, mental health, and the demand of timely and appropriate responses when faced with social injustice in a judicial and collegiate setting.
